Apparently - and you're welcome to laugh here because I sure did - someone on eBay recently put a *photo* up for auction and claimed that it was taken in the 1870's... featuring none other than Nicolas "No-Havin'-Sideburns" Cage himself. His starting bid was at a whopping $1,000,000 and he claimed the "photo" was an authentic photo of Nicolas Cage showing his true colours... as a vampire. He went on to say, in his own theory of course, "that he is some sort of walking undead/vampire, et cetera, who quickens/reinvents himself once every 75 years or so. 150 years from now, he might be a politician, the leader of a cult, or a talk show host." Wow, Nicolas Cage as an undead talk show host? Who woulda thunk it? Honestly, I think the best time for Cage to do something as ridiculously underwhelming as that would be right about now -- in the waning years of his career. Why would he wait another 150 years to do so?

This was taken from an MSN News article which claimed that "The photo is billed as documenting a Civil War-era man who lived in Bristol, Tennessee. Found in album that contained “an unusual number of Civil War era death portraits,” the man in the picture was the only one not identified by name. Conspiracy!" No name? Intriguing... could he really be a vampire or is it just a very good Photoshopped image? It is difficult to say... however, one fact remains clear: the photo has been pulled from auction. *AGASP!*

Actually, it may be a conspiracy but I don't think it's a vampire conspiracy. I find it highly unlikely that vampires even exist, other than psychotics who have a psychological urge to drink blood. No, as I've said in my OP, I think a more credible theory would be that the man in that photo is an ancestor of Nicolas Cage or Nicolas Cage is a time traveler and likes to have his picture taken, only to have the picture resurface 135 years later as a big joke!
