I'm doing the quest in Dawnstar called "Waking Nightmare" where you follow Erandur to Nightcaller Temple. However, when I went into the temple right behind him, he's nowhere to be seen. The temple is just a big room with no doors, however my map marker shows him way off in the black part of the map. Did he move too fast and enter a secret passage? Did the game glitch?

It's a known bug that if you let him enter the temple first, he doesn't wait for you... He is supposed to break the magic barrier so you can continue into the temple, but if he goes in first, he just walks through it and doesn't let you in.

I did this quest on toon-before-last. He went in first, I followed, and didn't have any issues. On PC....

same here. i always let him go in first, because if i go in before him he doesnt even come in. i have to go back outside and wait for him to go in first.

i've never had any issues other than that so i dunno
