My Nightingale hood is starting to get lighter and lighter every day, and I tried everything! I reload to my earlier save, I drop the hood and pick it up again yet nothing works! Any ideas on how to fix this?

That sounds like it's more in your head... OR perhaps your tv settings.

It's strange that you just posted this. My Nightingale hood turned white as well...I dropped it, and now it's white on the front edges, and a bit on the top.

This started happening after patch 1.4. If the hood gets lighter at the same time you get the neon signs objects around skyrim.if you don't know what i'm talking about check any enchanting table, dawnbreaker, logs in a campfire, flame atronachs and many more. Around whiterun the houses get yellow neon signs colored wood (I think this one looks cool).

You should get used to it because this is one of those things that are likely NEVER to be fixed.

It's a known glitch. When I turn the console off and on it fixes it for me.

Yep, Very old known glitch. Next time try search and you will get tons of other threads on this or just uses your goggle engine and you will find tons of articles on this very subject too.

I first got a case of the building beam neon effect in Whiterun but as it was Frostfall I found it all very festive.

there is nothing wrong with reposting it here.

at least its evidence to the developer that people are still bothered by these issues.

anyone know if the other platforms get the glowing objects too?
