So i finally got blood on the ice to work on a playthrough and was happy since i couldnt get it too work my first character and i couldnt kill nilsine or i wouldnt be able to access blood on the ice later due to tova's death. My new character just finished the blood quest and so i decided to do the mourning never comes quest. Started it by heading to windhelm to murder nilsine. My problem is nilsine is nowhere to be found. I know she isnt dead or tova would have commited suicide. Where could she be?

I've looked everywhere in windhelm about ten times and spent two hours looking for her and no luck. Any ideas?

I turned in the quest after killing alain since i couldnt find nilsine and was told she is dead by my hand???????? I'm royally confused at this one. Anyone have this happen?
