NOBODY playing on X360?

Honestly feels like this game is hella dying... why?

I've played mostly campaign today (which nobody ever plays anymore). So, I decide to go play some Free-Play and me and 1 of my friends get into a fireteam and beat these dudes were facing (8v8 practically, all humans).

So, the people on the opposing side join us as soon as they can. Eventually leaving only 1 guy on the other side that was a Human. This dude didn't even do anything, literally. We played like 5 games straight and this dude had 0 XP every game.

And, i've heard about Competition being literally humans v humans. I go into my FIRST game just NOW...

2v2... REALLY? So, you're saying theres only FOUR people playing this playlist atm? WOW! (I even left and came back, and got the same match/same people)

So, i'm an Engy my other dude with me is a Soldier. We're playing Terminal as Resistance. I start setting up shop in the "Glass Room". Setting up my Turret and placing my mines.

After a back-and-forth fight with these guys... IDK what happened. My teammate all of a sudden leaves and i'm 1v2...

Then this dudes other teammate also leaves, leaving us 1v1... HOW FUN!

He kept coming at me, over and over... I would NOT let this dude in this room for the life of me (I'm a beast at Defense... sorry bro). And then after awhile I'm just sitting in this room by myself... for like 5 mins? So, i'm like thinking in my head:

"This guy thinks in the last 3 mins he's going to come in here and try and hack when i'm not paying attention?"

10 mins past... so i'm like.. WTF is going on? Where the hell is this dude? I go up and out into there section poking around and didn't see him. As I start heading back I saw him standing at his spawn.. just standing there? So, I'm like FREE KILL!! w00t! Not the case...

Apparently being in your deployment area ensures that you're invincible?! Huh?.. lol. I unloaded 2 nades and a clip of Galactic on this guy and not a line of his health goes down, ever. (So, this must be true?)

Eventually time just ran out, i'm not complaining I somehow got almost 9K worth of XP for just standing near the Hackbox spot... lmfao!

But this is pathetic now... for the first time trying this playlist I was highly dissapointed. Just shows this game really is dying... :(

I don't want BRINK to die!!!

I think that a lot of people have left the game due to technical issues.

I now the feeling though. It svcks to be one of a small group that likes something, especially when that thing is better with lots of people.

Anyways, I hope it gets better. If it really dies, there are plenty of online shooters to play.

Last I checked 20 people don't make for a large population. Just saying, they're both still right.

I think there's two factors here at play.

First, at least on my Friends list, a lot of people traded the game due to the unplayable lag at launch. Dissapointing, but I can't really blame them since Game were offering a bloody good trade in deal for LA Noire. On the plus side, many said they enjoyed playing coop and would be tempted to pick it up again when it's cheaper and the free DLC drops.

The other issue with joining under populated games is probably down the the lag fix. I'm guessing the choice of the host you join is prioritised more towards ping and stability of connection. Unfortunately, this is most likely leading to hosts dealing with fewer clients as the most promising candidates and thus you drop in to an underpopulated game.

I'm hopeful the DLC will lure a few of my friends back to this as it is such a great game. It's dissapointing these days how fast gaming communities can ditch games in favour of the next shiney new toy on the Xbox.
