No "Non-Armor" Dragon priest masks...

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 12:06 am

...Means my Alteration spells won't work if I want to use a sweet *** Dragon Priest mask. No cool robe options, same gloves over and over, and no advanced level hoods leads me to believe that Bathesda HATES us mages :sadvaultboy: I am a firm believer in letting your character wear a circlet and a hood. I mean, I wear a bandana under my hoodie's hood all the time. Sure we'll get 2 more enchants if we allow this , but what's the worse that could happen?

When I first got that Morokei mask I was like "Whoa! Magicka Regeneration", but then sadly it said Light Armour which doesn't work with my Mage Armour.

Thank and agreed. I never understood the whole not being able to wear a circlet under my hood. It just seemed silly. And was extremely sad to see the Dragon Priest mask I got was light armor. It was very irritating.

I believe there's a mod that changes it to clothing.

I agree though it was a daft decision to make it an armour. There's so few pieces of clothing for mages it's no wonder people are playing mages in heavy and light armour.

There's really no way to satisfy everybody with the Mask armor classifications. There's a certain light armor one that my light armor archer/alchemist wore for 40+ levels. Bethesda really dropped the ball on the hoods, though. And yes, you should be able to wear a circlet under a hood.
