I don't think so, but I really never noticed. They would be under Daedric I assume, which I've not seen them in that smith list.

 don't know, would have to ask Beth their reasoning's for not including them  Maybe they thought the addition of the other arrows was enough, besides their as common as steal arrow. All you gotta do is a little crypt diving :hehe:

Not quite. Those are Ancient Nord Arrows. They're ugly, weak, and worthless. Nord Hero Arrows are actually viable in combat.

I wonder why BETH decides to keep all the cool stuff Unavailable, unsmithable, non-enchantable, and non-upgradable

But not the Nord Hero Arrows. You can't improve the Nord Hero Bow either.

The only difference between the two is the base damage, the nord hero arrows do 24 damage while the ancient nord arrows are doing 10 damage. They are identical other then the nord hero arrows look newer, it's the same arrow just with different damage ratings. As for effectiveness in combat, it's the same difference as steal and daedric arrows. The daedric are doing more damage but don't look the part of a proper arrow, steal is doing less damage but looks like a more practical arrow. Most prefer steal arrows based on look not damage rating, you can counter the low damage by smithing your bow enough to compensate. I personally prefer steal arrows and ancient nord arrows to all the others solely based on appearance, they look like a proper. Which is why I suggested going crypt diving in search for ancient nord arrows, it's the same as the nord hero but doing less damage ( older I guess ).

When it comes to looks, and what arrow I tend to use most in general, I go with Elven Arrows. It's stylized, but still a "proper" looking arrow. Just a little bit more extravagant. I also tend to use an Elven Bow (or the Nightingale Bow with Ebony Arrows) because I like the eagle motif Elven equipment has.

When I'm actually using something because of stats, I just stick to my Bound Bow. All the power of the Daedric equipment, with none of the weight.

On top of that, it's pretty badass to grab a spectral bow out of the air to plug something full of spectral arrows. :D

The aesthetics are the most important thing. The arrows are fricking green and balck instead of metallic and brown.

Patina my friend, patina. It's bound to happen being left stuck to the back of a rotting corpse for a couple hundred years  Personally I find steal arrows to look like a proper arrow one would use in battle, it has 4 edges !! Do you know what kind of wound that would make ? It would be almost impossible to get the wound it inflects to heal, which would lead to a slow and painful death from infection ( if you didn't land a fatal hit ), not to mention the pain involved when trying to remove it.

Bound bow is cool and all but I have yet to really mess around with the magic this time round in TES. But even if I did, it's the look of the Daedric arrow that turns me from them. There's no way that arrow would inflict a fatal wound on a person wearing clothing let alone armor, the way the arrow head is designed it wouldn't penetrate very deep. But pulling a bow out of thin air does look pretty badass.

The nord hero arrows are barbed too which would cause horrific wounds and make it hard to remove the arrowhead. What I think is strange and a bit stupid is that Daedric arrows are shaped like traditional hunting arrows.

It's the pitch fork shape that turns me from the Daedric arrows, there's no way in hell that would kill you. It would injure you but not kill you, the arrow would go in as far as the shaft of the arrow which looks to be 2-3 inches which isn't enough to inflict a fatal wound.

Nord hero arrows? what is this witchcraft?

Nordic arrows stong as stone.

Far prettier than dragonbone.

Daedric quality, that they are.

They bring foes down quickly from afar.

They cannot be made

like a Nord hero's blade.

Their crimson feather

just makes it all better.

Alas, they do not appear.

As such, I shed one tear.
