There's one in Whiterun involving the Gray-Manes and a kidnapped member of that family. Apart from it, and random encounters...don't know any of them.

There are (fairly frequent) random encounters with them and they're very easy to agitate.

I hope for a quest where you get to assasinate (or simply slaughter) Elenwen.

I agree. Not enough Thalmor to kill. Missing in Action was decent as it did indeed involve many Thalmor deaths but that quest and Diplomatic Imm. is about it. the random quests are too random. For fun I did venture past the embassy on unrelated matters and couldn't help but kill the 3 thalmor standing outside in addition to raiding the guard's barracks. I can only hope future expansion packs or release VI involves epic battles with these scoundrels.

...Wha? There's a peaceful ending that's bugged?

Is there any evidence towards this besides some dead-ends trying to convince Tullius to release him?

there can never be enough Thalmor to kill, so adding more wouldnt help too much, just add more loot and bodies.

The thalmor actually don't have many forces to spare.(They're likely sparing a lot more than they should because they're trying to keep up the facade that they're a huge superpower ready to strike down the empire at any moment.)

Yes, this. Do you need a cretin level in speech?

There's a bit in the CK where you can find that it was considered at a time to have Tullius write a release note to the thalmor to return thorald to their custody instead. I think you had to be a certain legion rank though for him to agree to it.

Would have loved to be able to join the Thalmor, you can join the Thieves Guild, the Dark Brotherhood and even a cannibal cult, why not also be able to join the true bad guys of skyrim? Roleplaying a High Elf supremicist would be so much fun. Radiant quests could include destroying alters of Talos, killing priests, finding evidence of Talos worship and torturing prisoners. The main quest could be about keeping the war going, doing decoy attacks pretending to be stormcloaks/imperials, lots of espionage and a good deal racism.

I wonder why there is a deserted Thalmor embassy in Solitude. Where everybody went?
