Tv not fit for game

Post » Sun May 20, 2012 3:32 pm

Get a new T.V. there cheap around this time because Christmas is over an the Super Bowl is coming up, you could get nice one for under $200, because like they said no plans on fixing it and HDTV is where its at.

Are you blind? He clearly said he can't afford one.

Please help me. I can't afford a new tv either.

Its 2012, get a freakin HD TV already. Can't afford one? Maybe you shouldn't spend so much time playing video games? ;)

You're reading into that line FAR too much. All that means is "right now it's not fixable" as in "there's no current workaround." Inference, decution, perception, and common sense say that absolutely it CAN be fixed because loads of other games work just fine on SDTV's. That service rep was saying that there's no way for the customer to fix the problem. Obviously Bethesda can fix it.

Inference, deduction or just plain common sense tells you that it won't be for one sole reason, SDTV support is no longer on the Sony or MS TRCs (Technical Requirements Checklist) and hasn't been since 2008. Considering that Skyrim was both submitted and released with EFIGS support failings (an insta-fail at cert for Sony) I find it highly doubtful they'll entertain the idea of a patch to fix something that isn't required of them.

I can play my copy of Skyrim on a 20" inch widescreen monitor now, instead of playing it on the SDTV that we have. I doubt Bethesda will implement an option where you can adjust the HUD. For those who play in SDTV, might as well get yourself a monitor or an HDTV or maybe the Playstation 3D display.

Hi all !
First thing, I'm French, don't blame me for my english please :ermm:

I just want to know if your SDTV is in 4:3 format ?
Because, I have the same with my 16:9 SDTV. I mean, the game don't want to fit my TV and just display the game in 4:3...
It's the first game on PS3 who do this, so that's not because of my PS3 or setting or TV...
The worst thing : on the back of the video game it indicates that the game works on PAL 16:9 TV...
