I recently upgraded ED-D with the brotherhood and at first it seemed to follow fine but now as soon as I enter combat it becomes unable to move. I tried telling it to wait and then follow but that doesn't seem to help. It still comes with me when I fast travel, but then it can't move again.

Well I tried again and the same thing happened. Oh well I guess I'll just put the game away until the patch comes out and see if this gets fixed. Its about time I study for finals anyway. The patch should be out by Christmas break right? Right?

Did you try firing and rehiring him? telling him to wait then follow? if your not on hardcoe did you try knocking him out? Did you bother to try anything?

Ya I tried all those things. I even knocked him out and then kept punching him until he exploded once :blush:

I should mention that I eventually was able to get him to follow sometimes but then every time we encountered an enemy he would stop moving again and I'd have to start all over.

it happened to me too .Dunno what goes wrong, after its upgrade and some days later, ede stopped at sight of any enemy -.-
I've tried everything. and nothig works.
I love ED-E, ad in the end i've loaded a different savefile, and EDE works again.
Now, all my matches are playd with the fear that ed-e can crash again -.-
I save very often and i hope everything goes right.

Well, the upgraded ED-E and the first ED-E are two different NPCs.
The two upgraged ones are bugged and do nothing but float in one spot, there is no known fix.
