So I goofed and restarted. Now I can't get Lydia. I have restarted 3 times now trying. I do the dragon kill, get to the jarl ....Heeeeeres LYDIA!!! .... ummmm (pin drop) Darlin? Sweetie?
I've hung out in the palace so much and often waiting for her the hired help roll their eyes when I show up.. I bought a home and weep beside her empty bed. I even tried some console commands involving the ancient rune "a2c94" or something like that. Nada. Zip.
I have a couple mods on my PC the basemant one, Vals crafting and supporting ones. shiny ore. rich merchants. thats about it.

Either I find the old saves and keep going from last I had her (gosh, wish I knew where those pesky old files are ...hint hint) or I'm just screwed. Could the mods be affecting her spawning? I havent seen anything that suggests that but ya never know till ya ask. So if I deactivate the mods, spawn Lydia, the restart the mods?
Don't really want to restart AGAIN right now but if someone knows how to actually get Lydia...
And no, dont really want anyone else...from what I've read and actually experienced so far...Mjoll talks too much and Aella(sp) is too weak and that damn dog .... nuff said about the dog ok?

thanks this isnt a troll. if nothing else I'm just curious if anyone else has had issues with Lydia not ever showing up.

The character I deleted (for unrelated reasons) a few days ago had this happen. But honestly it was a blessing rather than a curse , so I never looked for a fix.

I'm not a Lydia fan.

Go hire Janessa from the inn across the street from Breezehome. Only 500 gold, and she has cooler dialog IMO. I was all struck on Lydia until she became too feeble in her carry weight. Then it was time for her to go away.
