Star Trek Legend Lenard Nemoy is going to retire from Star Trek Conventions and Star Trek altogether. Well he had a great run---Live long and prosper Mr. Nemoy.

I saw this online a little while ago. He is 80 years old now, I guess he's allowed to retire sometime. I'm just not happy at all with the way the franchise has been destroyed in recent tears. I guess maybe I'm just old school where that is concerned.

I liked the Star Trek 09 movie and Enterprise did have some great episodes....but like all fads I think Star Trek just---ran it's course sadly. Still I'll always cherish the memories growing up with Star Trek.

After 40+ tears, I wouldn't consider it a fad though. Fads come and go in a matter of months. Star Trek hit on something back in the sixties that changed a hell of alot in today's world. Look no further than your cell phone, remind you of anything that Captain Kirk might've lugged around with him on a mission to the surface?
