I'm not sure what to do with my Redguard.

Can anyone help me out?

I want to make a Redguard soon but I'm not sure what he will be. I already made an Imperial Sword n' Board so that's likely not going to happen again for a while, and I know I want him to use strictly Sword/s. Any suggestions for what I could do?

Pick up swords and swing them at things. Other than that there's hundreds of things you could do.

They're good warriors, so you already have that covered. If you want more synergy than that, I'd suggest dual wielding. It's not really necessary, but the strength of dual wielding is in it's power attacks. You want to spam them and have a lot of stam. The redguard regen makes it even better. And 50 poison resistance is great too. Unless you already plan on being a werewolf, then you get 100 resistance.

My redguard is a light armor/one-handed/shield user. It works pretty well.

Curved... Swords.......

I intend on using those crazy contraptions. It's a shame I'll probably have to kill my fellow kinsmen to do so.

I'm getting ready to make a Redguard too...debating 2 handed sword or destruction as I really haven't seriously played either one yet.

If you've already done sword & shield, try dual-wield. Or, another option is to follow the path of an Ansei and http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Sword-singer. That is, focus on conjuration and fight only with bound swords. Not quite the same as a Shehai, but close enough--that's where the RP part comes in. In terms of gameplay, going conjuration purely for bound swords isn't the best use of perks or skill investment. I've been building towards this with my current Redguard.

In terms of Redguard history, there are three main tropes: samurai/spiritual warrior type, desert nomad, swashbuckling pirate. Use one or all of these as inspiration to put together a character concept, and try to follow that concept as you play your character.

I based my Redguard off of Riddike (also a dual wielder). Heh

The desert nomad is cool though. The whole whirling dervish idea fits them. (http://paizo.com/image/product/catalog/RPR/RPR03515_500.jpeg).
