So i just get married to Aela the huntress, heard she was a good archer... we get attacked by a dragon, just just sits there and does nothing... thanks

Never thought Aela was such a potatosack though.

Yeah I have had her just stand there while she is being melee attacked. Does nothing.

I gave her a nice elven bow and she uses her dumb hunting bow... i'm so confused.

it's a game bug.
get a mod to fix that, keyword follower + bow

Sounds like she already had plans to find a new mate!
