After attempting to purchase several deck cards from the female traveling merchant in Novac with payment in Cigarette packs, hitting X button to accept trade has repeatedly caused my game and system to freeze up.

Is there a way to soft-boot out of the freeze or do i need to shut down my xbox each time this game freezes up?

hi

it is caused by the fact your caravan cards are in your ITEMS not your caravan deck-

just place all your bought caravan cards that are in your ITEMS into a container, any container, and then simply take them back into your inventory

you will notice now they are in your caravan card deck!

NOW you can trade with the merchants again!

it is caused by having a card in your ITEMS that the merchant is also selling!

crazy, i know!

Wow!! I had the same thing happen from the traveling merchant then again in the gift shop. I was beginning to think it was the laser rifle scope that caused it but it must have spawned with some duplicate cards. I tested it out but did not look at everything in my inventory. Thanks.
