Just wondering, how well do you think the new Xbox 360 "slim" would run New Vegas? I've been considering getting a PS3 because of it's internal components, the blu ray hard coated disks, etc. So, in your opinion, and not as a Microsoft or Sony fan boy, which system will run NV better?

I play Xbox, my brother has a PS3 and his Fallout 3 game was alot buggier then mine, but really, if you had the choice and the money then i'd get a computer. you can plug a controller into a computer, (if thats how you like to play) you can mod with a computer, and chances are, if youve got a good computer, it will run your game better then either an Xbox or a playstation. Thats my honest and unbiased advice, and if i had the money, i would definatly buy a computer that could play games, just for the fallout series.

The Slim will run a game the same as an old Xbox 360 would. Whether or not a PS3 or a 360 will run it better will be unknown until the game is actually released and comparisons can be made, and anybody saying otherwise is only guessing.

I was glad i did not purchase Fallout 3 for my PS3 it suffered a host of bugs and ran badly. It ran rather well on my 360 but i still mostly played it on my pc due to mods, unfortunately my pc died a few days ago...

Probably the best advice. If you have a wired 360 controller or a wireless receiver for your PC, you can even play Fallout: New Vegas with a controller - I know you could with FO3. And a PC that will run the game very well with mods is not much more expensive than a PS3 or 360 slim. Depending on the type of TV you use to game, you may not even have to buy a monitor to go along with the new PC, driving the price down even more. Or you could be weird like me and use the same monitor like I do to use with my PC to play my 360 on. A PC monitor is what we call a $160 HD-tv. :hubbahubba:

Additionally..... If you have a computer (not more than six.. ah four years old), the upgrade parts will likely cost less than either console.
