Now my graphics "Go Black" constantly

My god, if my company (btw I am a software developer myself) released something this [censored] up we would loose all our clients, and all of us programmers would be fired on the spot. Seriously, get your [censored] together.

I'm 28 hours in. When I first started the game graphics would go black instantly, After searching around I found some notes that lowering the resolution to a non HD resolution would fix it. This worked wonderfully, until path 1.01 came out. A few hours after this the game graphics when black. and now they always go black instantly, (event at 480, and loading old saves.)

I just want to know ONE thing before I try my luck at taking this game back: WHY DO YOU HATE US SO MUCH?

Now I've heard some comments out there that this isn't entirely your fault, and that most of the issues we are encountering are because of the game engine, WELL HALF THIS [censored] HAS BEEN HAPPENING SINCE OBLIVION, TIME TO MOVE TO A BETTER ENGINE!

: Am I seriously the only one here having this particular issue (note, this isn't the screen goes black then crashes to the xmb, this is the graphics simply stop rendering (HUD is still there, Pip boy still comes up, game can be paused. Still sound effects, just the in game graphics are "Gone")) wtf man.

- Note thanks to this my game is not completely unplayable.

Thank you Bethesda, thank you so very much.

This happened to me too earlier around the Hidden Valley area.

I fast travelled to there at night, and all of sudden my screen went a really deep, dark blue colour (like if you use Cateye but was darker than this) after waiting for any period of time using the wait function the graphics and textures would just disappear completely, leaving a completely black game world with only the outlines of the surrounding hills.

Reloaded and fast travelled here numerous times and still happened, no crash though.

What I did find odd was that after waiting a few hours (at a different location) until it was day and then fast travelling to this area fixed the issue, everything was actually visible again

No go. The "good" news is that after clearing my "cache" and re-installing the game it only "glitches out" around vegas now. constantly....

So I think I'm going to see if I can trade in my copy for Borderlands. Looks like it has the same "feel" (walking around a wasteland) an fo3 and nv. Is it any good? Or should I just see if I can get my money back?

Update: I just thought of something. Any of you that are having this "Graphics Stop Rendering" Issue. Do you guys still have your original Hard Drives? or did you change them? A while back (even Before FO3 came out) I replaced my stock 60GB with a 250GB Drive. I'm wondering if something F*ed up is going on where it (the engine?) can't recognize sectors over that 60GB mark? I have no idea why that would be, but it is the only thing left I can think of that could potentially be a issue.
