NPC paint

Post » Mon Jun 18, 2012 7:54 am

Okay, so I'm probably missing something insanely obvious, but how do I put warpaint onto an NPC? When I'm in the character gen parts, I have the warpaint option that I want showing on the preview pane, but it doesn't show up in the game. I feel like I'm missing adding it somewhere like you do with scars and stuff, but I don't know where/what/why/wherefore are thou. Help, please?

Apparently this is a problem. Edited existing NPCs are having trouble showing up. I altered an NPC including their weight, ace paint, and clothing but in-game they are absolutely identical except for weight.

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately I'm working on a NPC that I have created so that method doesn't work until the bug gets fixed. Oh well, I've been patient with the game up until this point, might as well continue on. :)

I am not sure if the methods described in the thread wont work. Apparently, Darkon has found a way to combine both methods and make it available for user created npcs as well.
I suppose, the CK is currently unable to create face textures/meshed from an .esp . Creating it from an .esm works though and thats what he was aiming at.

A better description would have been nice though :P
