NPCs seek shelter from rain

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 3:37 am

I was walking through Whiterun, when it began to rain. I recalled reading somewhere before release that NPCs would seek shelter during storms. Did I imagine that? Anyone else remember?

Yes, so they told. I only saw that in Witcher.

They said a lot of things would happen that never did.

NPC's only take shelter when a town's economy is ruined by the mage who challenged you to duel.

An NPC behavior update would be nice. Maybe avoiding rain/snow and some city events would be cool.

I hope they stay out in the rain for at least a little while. Serious lack of shower heads in this game.

Yes I remember this, but never saw it happening. Too bad, it's so cool in The Witcher, good for atmosphere.

I managed to bring a snowstorm inside Blackreach, it was pretty cool.

If NPCs are not going to run away from a Fire Breathing Dragon, they are not going to run away from rain drops.

I know they take cover from rain in Oblivion. I don't recall hearing how they would react to rain in Skyrim.

Because if you didn't you'd get wet.
