Numeric Values in dialogue options

EDIT - I made another new quest that uses globals values in the text prompt, but again, it's dumping the entire thing as a string.

I've already declared the global in the Text Display Globals box.


is it not enough that i balance a ball on my nose and stand on my head, what more do you need of me oh great circus master? show me the flaming hoop so i can jump through it and receive my bag of peanuts.

I had this exact same issue, what you have to do is go to your quest window (Where you see quest name, priority etc) and at the bottom-right of the window you will see "Text Display Globals". Right click there, select "New", and add the global variable there. It then should appear in your text perfectly :)

so, it turns out the hidden flaming hoop i was missing was just a caching issue. i had to load a much older save that had no history of the plugin. absolutely effing ridiculous. but at least this monkey gets to enjoy his peanut.

Ya, there are a TON of issues with quests and anything involved with them at the moment. Quite ridiculous.
