nVidia Beta Drivers (285.38) fixed my screen tearing

Hello all, I'm posting this to possibly help others with screen tearing. I updated my nvidia drivers to beta 285.38, from a lowly 260.xx, and the screen tearing is gone. I did not mess with newer official drivers. It seems my video card is now in sync with my 32" LG.

System specs:
Windows 7 64-bit
Intel Core i3 550
MSI H55M-ED55
8 GB Gskill DDR3 ram @1333, decent, not the fastest but within specs.
PNY GeForce GTX 570 1280 mb 320-bit GDDR5
Seagate 7200 RPM Sata
Resolution: 1920x1080

I installed the nVidia 285.38 beta drivers and the tearing (which was pretty bad beforehand) is now gone. The texture drawing is still a little slow near the edges, but the rest of the game is fantastic. Graphics are as clear and tasty as mountain spring water. Gameplay is quite entertaining and I'm looking forward to more play time tomorrow. :thumbs up:

Here are links to the nVidia 32bit and 64bit drivers:

64 bit nvidia 285.38: http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7-winvista-64bit-285.38-beta-driver.html

p.s. I suppose it is a little lean on story, but I didn't expect much, just an apocalyptic western shoot-em-up, and id delivers on that.

Tried using the new beta drivers you mentioned...it didn't help anything. Game freezes while it loads in textures even at 640x480! Totally unplayable

System Specs are:

Win 7 64 bit
i7 920 stock
560 GTX ti
6 GB RAM
