Oblivion With Guns 3.0?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 12:33 pm

I really don't know what to write here, other than I'm really disappointed with how this game's looking. I played Fallout 3 (and it was buggy), and Fallout New Vegas looks like more of the same (including the bugs, I'm told), and this RAGE looks like yet more of the same (will it also freeze and crash?). Desolate U.S. "Wasteland" (proper noun) with raiders and (overpowered) mutant monsters roaming the ruins of an old major U.S. city while one lone wanderer can change the whole fate of what's left of humanity... yeah, yeah; been there and done that. How is this dead horse getting so many awards at game conventions?

Apparently Duke Nukem Forever's gonna be my FPS for 2011.

It's not an RPG and it's not developed by Bethesda. There are a few similarities to Fallout (mostly in names) but it's going to be nothing like it.

Similar game setting does not mean the same thing. Thats like saying COD and MOH are the same just because they are both FPS games. And with that logic, you can say almost all games ever created are the same because they have a story.

How about doing a bit of research before spouting your ignorance.
Hmmm... no. I'm quite content as I am.

That doesn't address the issue of "similar game setting." Additionally, both game series come out of completely separate game studios. Whereas this one has gamesas's name stamped on it, just as Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas did. But more than that, yes, CoD and MoH are the same, not just because they are both FPS series, but also because of their same WW2/now-modernized-warfare setting.

And with that logic, you can say almost all games ever created are the same because they have a story.
I'm sorry, but your princess is in another castle.

BTW, how does someone so arrogant and incapable of forming a coherent argument become a "Master"?

Fallout 3 is from Bethesda Game Studios, Fallout New Vegas from Obsidian and Rage from ID Software - three different game studios. Bethesda Softworks are the publishers.

However, given the rudeness and flaming in this thread I am closing it.
