Obsedian, FIX THIS!

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 12:27 pm

Please Obsedian, please fix the slow menu commands in NV. I mean, when I'm reloading a gun or have finished reloading it takes about 10 seconds for the pipboy to display and by that time I'm dead.

I know there's a perk for faster switching but this is all out annoying. Just one of the gripes I have when compared to F3.

Good for you, but a lot of people are having this exact same issue.

During any medium to large scale conflict, I can't open my menus, switch weapons or use VATS. Any one of these functions takes anywhere from 10 to 30 seconds to perform, by which time I'm dead.

wow that's not cool. I remember having something like that in Fallout 3. When you try to bring up your pitboy and it delays when your getting attack.
Why don't use the hotkeys for some of your stuff like healing or your backup weapon. You can do that right?

I noticed this even early on in the game at the correctional facility. There are only like 6 guys or so that come rushing at you once inside where the leader is. If you have your +guns skill up and the correct weapon out, it's no problem, but playing the game I have been, with my +guns skill currently at a 2... I used explosives, and moving around and switching between types of weapons and pulling up Pipboy were annoyingly slow.

It's the same thing. You can't switch, takes at least 5 seconds if you're lucky. Really annoying when you're trying to take down Giant Radscorpians and you can't switch weapons.
