Obvious quests you still havent done?

Post » Tue Jun 05, 2012 1:44 pm

I bought the game 11/11/11 and still have no idea what those 2 Alik'r warriors want with that woman. Still got about 8 Daedric shrines to do (even find) Still havent touched the companions or thieves guild yet.

What are some quests you should have done ages ago but still not got round to?

The College of Winterhold. It's a pretty obvious one since I'm playing as a pure mage.

Have yet to do the DB, Companions, or Namira's quest. I'm sure there are others, I just haven't found them yet.

Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood.
Helping Guilds and Factions from previous games is just not something a character that I like playing can do in this game.

Main quest. I'll probably never get to do it due to bugs.

The Alik`r and that woman have two conflicting stories. I`m putting that quest on hold.

From checking the Journal I think I have about 30 jobs to do and I haven`t touched any of the companion or Thieves either, but I won`t because I`m not a thief character and I don`t like the way the Companions turn out. I might do half the Companions maybe.

The Mages' Guild. The Companions'. The Dark Brotherhood. The Thieves' Guild. The main quest. The peace/imperial branches of the civil war line. A lot of the daedric quests.

I'm about halfway through most of them but I've put Skyrim away until I feel like playing it again...

Haven't joined Thieves', Brotherhood or Companions. Have only just done Mzulft for the College, so a few bits left to do. Still have 'join the Legion' and 'join the Stormcloaks' in my quest log. Some Daedra, those I had no option to refuse, will wait forever before my character becomes their lackey. Apparently I am supposed to find an Elder Scroll somewhere, but that can wait. It's only an old scroll.

I've only finished the Companions questline although I've done quite a few sidequests. Given Vriddi is now 40th level I think I'll be leaving the other questlines to other characters.

I have only done two Daedric quests (Azura & Clavicus Vile).

I haven't finished the Thieves Guild or the College of Winterhold.

I've never taken part in a drinking contest I was challenged to or met the man who gave me a note about the forsworn.

I've only ever owned two of the houses available.

I have plenty left to experience..

I haven't done the Thieves Guild yet and I haven't done the Forsworn Conspiracy nor the one with the Alik'r warriors and the Redguard woman.

I've got about 20 quests in my journal, but those ones are the quests I can remember not doing off the top of my head.

My first two characters were not of a mind set to do thievery or murder. So, no DB, Thieves or half of the Daedric Quests. I have not done the Companions for some reason, might do that this morning to see what it is all about. I don't think it fits with my current character so that might just be a set of branching saves.

The one about the missing Gray-Mane dude. No idea what the quest is actually about.

My first character was a thief and a murderer, just not for the DB. He felt that assassins were all cowards, and the real way to murder someone was to do it up close with no regards to whether or not he was spotted...all witness would be slaughtered anyway. That one was probably my favorite playthrough in a long time.

Oh yeah, he was also a Daedra worshipper, which meant that the Vigilants of Stendarr would be killed on sight. The bodies were really starting to pile up there.

College of Winterhold, Forsworn Conspiracy.

Oh, and that Alik'r quest. It seems like no one has done that.

I've yet to do:
Blades
Bards
"Thane" quests for anything but Whiterun.

My current character is working on Blades and becoming Thane of X for all X. My next character will go after Bard's quests and something else worthwhile.

With three characters among whom I'm alternating, I have yet to do the Companions, TG, DB, or any Daedra quests except for Meridia's and Sheogorath's. One of the characters (a Nord scout/arcane archer type retired from long Legion service) has skills ideal for the TG or DB, but not the right morals or background. I'll probably not do those until I start character(s) more suitable in an RP sense for those guilds. I've finished the Mage's College for all, and main quest for two of them, and the Bards' College for one...unfortunately the endless burning bug bit me there so I'll not attempt that one with the other two. Two of the three, including the scout, are suited temperamentally for the Companions; I'll get to that soon.

None of them have done the civil war quests yet, although two of them probably will, eventually...the first being the aging Dunmer warmage merc who despises the Thalmor and figures the Empire will pay better and has a better chance of long-term survivability even though they're uneasily "allied" with the Thalmor. It doesn't stop him from frequently provoking Thalmor groups he meets into fatal (for them) quarrels, or from a bloodbath in and around the Thalmor embassy. He's probably going to join up and do the civil war quests before he finishes the last part of the main quest, unlike the other two characters--both Nords, both jaded retired veterans of the Legion, but with rather different backgrounds and outlooks--who completed the main quest by negotiating a truce.

None has done the Foresworn conspiracy; all have done the Alik'r one. The three currently range in level from mid-40s to mid-50s, and they all do a great deal of exploring and dragon-slaying. All are pretty much chaotic good types, thus not well-suited to the more criminal or amoral quests. All will probably get around to Azura's quest eventually.

There's an amoral Khajiit waiting in the wings to do the appropriate (for him) quests.

Thieves' Guild, Dark Brotherhood-- Current character is good aligned so will not be touching those.

Companions seem like a bunch of losers. Why would my character join them? "You guys have fun whinging and sitting on your butts in the Hall--I'm going out to waste some dragons."

Bards: I'm ambivalent. They have the worst singer ever in the Solitude Inn. Her singing makes me cringe, but I won't hold one bad apple against them. May or may not bother with their quests in this playthrough.

Civil war. Character doesn't give a fig about Imperials or the Nords. Fraila Grey Mane will have to find someone else to rescue her boy.

Looks like I'll only do the main quest and College of Winterhold quests. Sort of fell into the latter's questline, and I'm now curious to as how it all turns out.

I have yet to finish the TG,DB, Bards or the last 2 quests for mages. I've only done the Jarls for Whiterun, Morthal, Solitude, Riften and Markarth so I still have some to do.

I've only done Meridia, Clavicus,& Azura. Now I did do Molag Bal and Nimira but I deleted that part of the play through from that char's saves.

I've had various priest masks on different char's, but never all of them on one char.

Haven't even started the Civil war and won't on the char's I have now, be later on a different char.

I haven't done the A'likr quest of finding the Graymane boy.

I started on release day. Just haveing alot of fun exploring while doing some of the questlines slowly. Now I did have to re-start everything, when my x-box got trashed ( not game related)

From the release until today I had that lost expedition quests in my log, took me ages to complete, just felt so extremely boring to kill Falmers a thousand times in those huge ruins, so I have always found other quests to do instead, but today was the day :)
