I have been trying to line the crystals for the Ocular puzzle. Neither fire or the frostbite will move the crystals. I have tried shooting the floor and everything nothing works. The first time I went into the room there were no tomes books on the frostbite either. I had to go buy one. How the hell do I deal with this???? I have not been able to find anything on this! Oh and I CAN see the beams of light also. but nothing will move the crystals

Are you using the correct spells? Not all fire or frost spells worked and until I used the right ones, the lenses did not move.

Steady stream of frostbite or flames will alternate the lights. If you go too far past the targets with frostbite, turn back to flames to bring it back (hot and cold game).

I had a hard time because I couldn't see the graphics for some reason so I couldn't see the light rays to line them up. I watched my bro do it on the PS3 and it was completely different. I turned down some graphics for performance so I'm calling it that. Eventually after pushing a bunch of buttons it stops in the right place on its own.

Haha, then that uppity Synod mage accused me of some dastardly plot!!! I think he was right. lol.

I had to ask myself, why didn't the Synod guy do the stuff with fire and frost, save us all that trouble? Maybe he was unskilled in Destruction? Well, I'm not either. I'm an assassin and use blades. lol.

Ok its simple for me the beams dont show up.... so what I do is push each button one time then heat all the way and then small bursts of cold... if im lucky the thing locks as one of the beams hits.

Now just go to the buttons one will be covered up... push the other two till they lock and bam your done.

Most likely your lense isnt moving because its locked already just see if one of the buttons is locked down.
