WTF?? When I call him nothing happens. The Jarl just says "You do have a plan." I have tried reloading and going through the council again and reloading the game. Nothing. Why is this [censored] up?

I even killed Parthanax even though I didn't want to and that still did not fix the glitch. Why the [censored] is a major glitch like this present? Did you morons even test this piece of [censored] game? This glitch has effectively prevented me from completeing this game and OBVIOUSLY is limiting my enjoyment. This isn't just a mechanics glitch like the [censored] with magic resistance this is a huge ass problem. [censored] this game. Some comapanies actually put time into testing their products. I have been wating for Diablo III forever but at least I know that when that game comes out it will not have major flaws. Blizzard is conducting an extensive beta test as I type this. Take a page from their book.

I've never encountered this problem in any of my playthroughs. Make sure you're doing the full call, you're out on the balcony rather far, and you wait a bit. He doesn't arrive instantly.

wait... u killed paarthunax before finishing the main quest and capturing odhaviing? o dear...

also, are u going to the right place to call him? u have to be right at the edge of the balcony and call him from there. also hold down the button to use all the words, not just 1... then dragonrend him down.

if u mean calling him AFTER the main quest, then u need to be outdoors and at a place he can reach.

It ended up working after 100 or so tries. I went out to the edge and repeatedly shouted. Sometimes I did it 10 times and it didn't work. I reloaded a few times. Did it once and it worked. Still very very shoddy development.

i've called him so many times i've lost count.
i've waited.
i've gone so close to the edge of the balcony that i can tell you that they won't let you jump off.

Nothing.

I have the same problem and I do not know how to go forward

i went off and did side quests returning every now and then to try again.

eventually it worked and I swear I did nothing different that last time.

I wish i could give better advice, but just keep trying.
