I tried searching both this forum and google but I've found nothing relevant so I thought I'd ask:

Is there any way you can go against the thieves guild, aka destroy them? Any particular quest? While I've never joined them, the people in Riften seem to view them as a bunch greedy [censored]es who's ruining the city with corruption etc. So, is there a way to destroy them?

Nope.

They're too awesome anyway.

only on the PC and with the command console, at least that's the only way I could find to kill them...
