So, a quick recap:

Last month the big announcement for "all" Skyrim fans was that a minority within the community were getting Kinect support.

This month the reveal was that a name we found out about a long time ago is actually the official name of the first DLC.

Did I miss anything?

Only thing i'm dissapointed with...

If we don't get to know about it any more till e3... that means probably still a month after E3 to get it..

By then Ill be in school again...

Why cant we just have something fun to do over the summer?

Wait just a minute.. How do we know it's not 360 exclusive?

Because it's not. They have said it will be a 360 times exclusive for the first 2 DLCs.

Because every time the question is asked on the blog, gstaff points out that it is timed exclusive, i.e. launching first on XBOX360, and afterwards on PC and PS3.

I am disappoint. I thought for sure we'd at least get some clue as to the content.

Pretty weak effort if you ask me.

Its been common knowledge since Skyrim came out last year

I'm completely aware of that, but the fact is a lot of people aren't. To then have Bethesda throw that on their front page and only mention the Xbox is not only misleading, but frankly insulting.

Is my purchase not as valued? Are the PS3 and PC players who bought a copy to be hidden in a damn cupboard?

I know it's Microsoft's influence at work here, but Bethesda should at least be a little ashamed of themselves.

Gstaff stated on the bethblog that first on Xbox... then other systems "As noted before, the first two add-on content drops for Skyrim will be releasing exclusively on Xbox 360 before it’s available anywhere else."

well he got glowing eyes...
Vampire feeding has been datamined...
There is a quest rising at dawn... (cure of vampires)
I guess this will dlc we be quite centered about vampires.

not necessarily...

there is still the snow prince, which IMO has more potential for being the centre than vampires.

Nah... it's just a DLC where you get to play the role of an ordinary Dawnstar guard. You know, getting an arrow in the knee, fighting that pesky Dawnstar dragon, and arresting the Dovahkiin for stealing a sweetroll. The usual.

XBox 360 only? That svcks. Guess I'll be playing D3 and Mists of Pandaria and shelving Skyrim. Was really excited for the DLC until I read it's exclusive for XBox 360. :(

Actually we don't. It MIGHT be 360 exclusive, but that would mean pissing off a LOT of the Skyrim players. Don't think Bethesda's dumb enough to go that route.

And I'm kind of disappointed. There was an announcement yesterday that there would be an announcement today which turns out to just be an announcement for an announcement at E3 in a month. I'm betting the E3 announcement will be an announcement of an announcement.

I've said it once, I'll say it again vampires. Everything points to it. Dawnguard. When the dawn comes vampires will get burnt etc. Feeding animations. Eyes that look very suspiciuosly like vampire eyes.
Vampire eyes are different. They are more red and black than yellow.

http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/images/112-1-1321176480.jpg(Before "after", which is a mod). Which more or less look like Darth Vader's http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ApQBEzfE_Bw/Te8BbdhoLjI/AAAAAAAAAHQ/CLmrfsxXAj4/s1600/anakin-skywalker.jpg. They look more like werewolf eyes than anything.

This=win. I would throw them my money.
Me too, but I think the glowing eyes are more werewolf. However, I think it could be based around the Volkihar, since I think the Snow Elf Prince is going to be part of the DLC, and there are some people who think that the Volkihar from the Immortal Blood book are the Falmer, so maybe we will see the Volkihar in the DLC.
