Can it be used to boost your skills over 100 like in Oblivion?

EX: If I wait and get all magic skills to 100, and then use it, will it boost them all to 110? I remember it worked that way in OB.

Don't believe so. At least there were no reports of people abusing the glitch with the bookshelf going over 100 in any skill. That is where I would expect to see most of it.

From a personal experience.... Nope... you can use fortify potions and enchantments though.. to boost above 100...

Alright, I'll guess I'll just use it when I get it.

And then I'll boost the skills with the console if we turn out to be wrong. XD

I'm trying to tell you not to boost but one of my accounts (Not my main) i boosted to 81 and it's really boring... I just quit that account/deleted it.

But it's your game. Always remember to have fun!

No, it ignores any skill already maxed. I tried it on all three categories with smithing, sneak and lockpicking all at 100 just to check myself and it only raised the others. In addition, it doesn't wrap around and cause multiple levels in case you receive all thirty skill points.
