Okay Beth...You Can Do Whatever You Want To...

Post » Wed Jun 27, 2012 5:40 pm

Since it sounds like from what I've been hearing on the PS3 Console forums you've decided to treat those of us that use that have decided to make that the console of our choice as a pariah. DO AS YOU PLEASE!!! In doing so it sounds to me as though you've pretty much lost most of your PS3 fanbase. That being said feel free to do whatever you want with your game development...exclusivity with Microsoft PC or 360. The FACT is if you were serious about making your games compatible with PS3 you'd hire people fluent in LINUX which is native to the "Cell" architecture. And yet you may ask,"How do you know we don't?" The fact is if you did, you wouldn't have this many problems with game development programming and/or bug fixes. Alas, what do I know, I'm but one of the lowly PS3 scabs you're trying to pick off your proverbial butt. DO AS YOU PLEASE AND I WILL SING...

"Farewell an' adieu to you fair
Spanish ladies,
Farewell an' adieu to you ladies
of Spain,
For we've received orders for to
sail for old England,
An' hope very shortly to see you
again." ~~ Stu Hugill

In otherwords, hopefully you'll remember we have MONEY TOO!!!

Not as bad as PS3 users. Atleast the PC version is playable. Well, once you mod the UI into something usable :teehee:

You're overreacting a fair bit, I think.

They've hardly lost most of their ps3 fanbase. Skyrim's been one of the top selling games on the console this year. Quite frankly, yes, you don't know who Bethesda hires. There's a healthy difference between being able to code in Linux and being able to make that code workable within the game engine. They're two vastly different things.

Your topic will be locked soon, as it should be quite frankly, but just be aware that topics like this serve no purpose but to make you look a bit foolish. If you don't want to buy the next Elder Scrolls game than that's your right as a consumer but to pretend as though you're making some statement that's going to make anyone at Bethesda do anything short of click their tongue and hit the lock button is foolish.

Speak with your wallet and if it's a bad enough problem others will too. I myself play on the Playstation 3 and except for some lock ups during autosaves I've had a pretty bug free experience.

Also, in regards to the other post here. Don't assume Dawnguard will be released a month from now. There's been no date announced yet.

The funny thing is that most of you will still buy it when it comes out.

Don't wine, I'm on PC, we get mods. Far better than what the other 2 consoles are getting. If anybody deserves the pity it's the PS3 players, not us.

Come on guys, you only have to wait like a month. I understand it svck having to wait a bit longer, but you're all acting like you'll never be seeing any DLC at all.

You say " we have money too", but apparently Microsoft had more. They paid extra to get the two first DLC's exclusively. So don't be mad at Bethesda.

Yes. Making you wait ONE month is completely screwing you. Jesus Christ. Timed exclusives are annoying as [censored]. I'll give you that, but you'd only be getting screwed if it was permanent. I'm a huge batman fan. I have an XBox 360. I still do not have access to the Joker Challenge maps from Arkham Asylum. That's what screwed is.

I agree. If I had a decent PC that could run Skyrim I would easily choose that over the 360 version due to all the awesome mods.

Plus, you eventually get the DLC anyway.

Holy hell, the whining. As always, I must point out that I am tempted to mention the political relevance of all this, but that, as always, I AM BEHAVING MYSELF.

Just leave the forums.

Cuz it's not like you guys can go create whatever the hell you want, or add whatever you want in the game. Not like you can add mods for new weapons, mounts, entire realms, or anything of the sort.

I'd rather wait another month and have CK and mods for xbox then get dawnguard today.

There are some mods and added content out there that is on par with Bethesda's.

I've basically come to the point where I'm not buying the next gen for console systems. I'd rather build my own PC for the same price.

HAHAHAHA!!! I do love kicking the vipers nest to see what comes slithering out. You obviously don't realize I was intentionally baiting you to keep the issue before Bethesda. To be honest I'm actaully one of the few people that don't have performance issues playing their games on my system. Why?? I don't know, but I sure these things are issues that need to be dealt with across all platforms. It just seems that there are more issues with the PS3, and no it's not just the expansion but for the most part performance. My guess would be that issues began occurring when Sony decided to thin-line the system. I'm not sure what they did, but it seems like they same types of performance issues when they thin-lined the PS2 as well. Yes I do post on the Sony and PS forums too, but the devs need to force Sony to listen to them. Without console games there are no consoles, and then we'd all be PC players...HAHAHAHA!!!!
