All the time, right to the point where it's pissing me off. I can't get any of the good and big mods, such as moonpath to elsweyr, And the realms of the deadra, grytewake legend, dwemer aquarium, colossus, the ancient arena.

Anybody know why it's happening, or how I can fix this?

List your mods?

Also, your game is updated, yes?

It's updated

I got quite a bit of mods, but far less than 50

- Better Riften
- Dynamic torches
- Handyman
- Racial bonus in description
- Dovahkiin hideout
- Kill them generals
- Complete Skyforge
- Lost art of the blacksmith
- Camping
- Midas Magic
- Night eye toggle
- No blur night vision
- Fall of the space core Vol.1
- Ragged flagon shortcut
- Skyforge map marker
- House map markers
- Silversmithing
- The pines of whiterun
- LOTR weapons
- Better quest objectives
- More Carriages
- Detailed Mine Map markers
- Infinite charges for daedric items
- Hunter's treehouse
- Unofficial skyrim patch
- Fishing in skyrim
- Home tree
- Elvenwood
- Sounds of skyrim, the wilds.

I kept thinking it was the amount of mods I have, so I tried disabling a lot of them, to no avail.

It doesn't have to be a lot of mods - just one bad mod can ruin the bunch. What happens if you try to run the game with no mods at all?

It seems like with just 1 big mod, it's working fine. So that that means it must be one of those mods then?

So it would seem. I'm not familiar with most of those mods and the ones that I am, don't seem like likely culprits - try loading them in, in batches of five and go smaller once you start having problems.

Been just doing that. It seems that the quest mods, except for the elsweyr moonpath one, has been causing the crashes. But I've been seeing so many others play those mods without problems.

Are you sure they're updated?

Do you have a fairly recent computer?

Quest Scripts can get out of hand really fast, really, really, really fast.

Yeah, they're all updated. My computer is pretty decent, running skyrim at 60 frames average.

GPU: GTS 250
CPU: AMD athlon X2
RAM: 12gb

I doubt my hardware has much to do with it, other than my few years old graphic card, but it's not ancient.

Only thing I can think of is your load order, then - try to put the bigger and more well-maintained mods higher up on the load order, is my usual order of doing things.

Hmm, changing the load order didn't seem to change anything, I activated 1 more quest mod and put it 2nd in the load order, after the first quest mod that's working fine currently. Still crashing.

What version of USKP are you running? What version is your Skyrim?

Edit:
As of Skyrim 1.6.89 you should be using USKP 1.05b from http://www.darkcreations.org/forums/files/file/289-unofficial-skyrim-patch/. It will still say version 1 in NMM but it is 1.05b.

You need to deactivate them and reintroduce them and test one or a few at a time. Its really the only way to narrow down whats happening. Its likely a combination of certain mods and not one particular mod causing the problem. Best to do this on a new game. That might tell you if you've got a problem save from affected by previously uninstalled mods etc. Im making the resolution that for my playthrough Im going to commit to the mods Im using for the entire game as it just seems to be a clusterf**k for saves removing mods etc as I go.
