Is Old World Blues gonan be like Broken Steel?

Post » Tue Mar 08, 2011 3:59 pm

Anyone notice that quite a few of the screens for OWB take place in the Mojave? Maybe we're gonna get more areas in the original maps, as well as tougher, leveled enemies (Possibly the lobotomites fitting into this category)? Discuss.

Edit: ignore than misspell in the title. Meant to be "Gonna", not a dyslexic "Ganon"

I hope so. Since Old World Blues is supposedly going to explain some of New Vegas' creatures like the Nightstalkers and possibly even Deathclaws, completing the DLC might unleash some tougher breeds of various creatures on the Mojave.

It's going to take place in the big empty an old world military research facility this was given in the description of the dlc put out by bethesda, so odds are the area surounding the facility is much like the mojave ior the facility may be in the mojave but outside of the main map its a pretty large area.

I'm willing to bet that Nightstalkers were developed there, but we already know how Deathclaws came about. They were created by the US military before the war by applying FEV to Jacksons Chameleons.

No, and please stop asking for Broken Vegas people. It is not going to happen.

As for level scalling I think that only some quest characters will become harder to kill

It would be great for all the whining people are doing about things being too easy.

Yeah. I hope it adds a new deathclaw. Nothing says daeth in the morning like deathclaw.... well as long as your not on an elevated suface.

They could always make a Deathclaw with wings. Try glitching the path-finding with that.

...actually, that sounds freaking awesome. It would look like some Satanic monster then.

We may already know about the deathclaw's origins, but we also already know that nightstalkers are just coyotes and rattlesnakes spliced together. Doesn't mean the Big Empty wasn't the facility that created them both.

I'm going to guess that escaping from the Big Empty requires us to deactivate the entire security system, allowing new breeds of nightstalkers, deathclaws, and perhaps new creatures (wanamingos) to roam the Mojave.
