It appears so not that big of a surprise the engine is capable of it and the are around hidden valley had the sand storm so it's not like it wasn't do able they just didn't put in weather.

Probably not random rain, though. I expect it only shows up in one area, although there have been random weather mods made, so who knows.

But I'm not holding my breath.

Yea one thing I never got was why it never rained... before not game breaking but still add to atmosphere

I notice a lot of game lack weather cycle system like lets say COD multiplayer maps!

I wonder if it will puddle-up. Or just go through the soil and look completely fake. Red Dead Redemption probably did the best job with rain I've ever seen. I hope its like that. Also, do you think it will only rain in the new area? That's my guess.

Rain in Fallout is more important than anything else.
Even Ulysses don't come close to [censored] RAIN IN A FALLOUT GAME!!!!

Since I love weather/rain in games so much, I can totally appreciate that console gamers may get excited about having it. Once I started using Nevada Skies, I set it to rain frequently. I don't care if it's illogical for the Mojave, I like the sound of rain, even in a video game. It's....soothing. Plus it makes it dark and moody. I like that. Based on the mods, it's definitely possible to have it randomly rain everywhere in the gameworld...what they've done in the DLC tho, who knows.

I'd prefer a massive waterfall, but rain will do in a pinch.

Sadly it was and couldn't be implemented in Fallout for reasons far to complicated for my mind. I kid about that last part but yeah, it's about time there's rain. I just hope it really screws up you line of sigh/vision, will make for some nice sneaking around
