Ok so somehow I got thrown into Cidna mine. After completing the quest I got out and left the city. I came back later and guards walk up to me and tell me I am being arrested.
I have no bounty to pay off.
They will not accept thieves guild appeal.
They will not buy the "I'm being framed!" line
Whenever I tell him "I submit, take me to jail" the guard just repeats his "You're under arrest for murder and conspiracy something something forsworn".


So in short, every time I go to Markarth I am stopped by a guard and I can't do anything except loop the dialogue. I CAN NOT submit and go to jail and I CAN NOT pay off my bounty. My only option is to leave the dialogue which will cause the guard to become hostile. So my only viable option is to go into Markarth and slaughter every guard and any witnesses in order to conduct my business. Wtf?
Help?

Wrong place to post this. This is a known bug, just don't enter that temple. If you're having this issue outside of the temple, well then you have a problem... In that case, try getting a low bounty first, find a guard at the Reach without the Forsworn dialogue, and let them take you to jail, see what happens

came across it too.
restarted several times.

what strted it for me was that the forswornd got in my way during the escape and where attacking my redguard chararcter.

it also screws up if you attack them when you attakc the forsworn after escaping said mine.

though it might not be the case fro every one.



anybody here know the code to canccel out the bounty?
