One-HandedTwo Handed?

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 4:31 pm

Hi, guys! Noob here.
If I have 2 one-handed swords (one n my left, one in my right hand), do I need the two-handed skill to use both for a decapitation move? Is'nt it still technically one-handed? I really want to decapitate but I have only focused on my one-handed skill.

Any help would be appreciated!

You're using one-handed weapons.

Why would your two-handed weaponry skill factor in?

The Two-Handed skill tree refers to weapons where BOTH hands hold a single weapon. They wont apply to dual-weilding one-handed weapons.

Dual-wielding uses one-handed.

You don't need two-handed perks unless you use Greatswords, Battle Axes, or Warhammers.

Frankly, dual-wielders are wimps. Real warriors go Sword+Board or Big [Censored] Battleaxe/Greatsword

They're one handed weapons so you're good. Two handed refers to Greatswords, Battleaxes and Warhammers. IE a weapon you hold with two hands.

You can use one one-handed weapon, two one-handed weapons, or one two-handed weapon.

One-handed perks affect one-handed weapons, no matter how many you are using. In fact, if you look at the perk tree, you'll see that there are dual wielding perks in the one-handed tree.

Dual wield is where true swordsman go to play. Using two weapons seamlessly is a beautiful thing. Plus Spartacus uses dual wield and he was a badass on the stars series.

With the inability to block while dual wielding swords you need to do lots of damage in a short period of time in order to stand much of a chance. When doing this, it depletes you stamina pretty quickly, which leaves you needing to use tactics more.

Real warriors don't hide behind shields, they just dual wield.
