One question~ (xbox 360) controler.

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 8:08 am

Is there a way to zoom out further when you play from 3rd person view? I mean with mouse I can just scroll out and it's fine, but recently I wanted to try playing with controler for sake of being assassin "easier to adjust sneaks etc."

Long story short; how can I zoom out with controler? Is there a console command to zoom out?

Ah nice, cheers mate~ also is there a way for instant switch from bow to daggers and other way around... So I don't have to click on favorited items just to be able to switch weapons in combat?

On your favorites list highlight your bow and press the right D pad then highlight your dagger and press the left D pad. You can only quick select 2 items unfortunately unless you have the Kinect.

Once you assign it to the favorites menu, exit back to the game, press up on the D-pad to open the favorites menu, hover over the item you want, then hold left on the D-pad or right on the D-pad. This should assign a 1. and 2. next to these items. Now you just hit left or right while in-game and it'll switch instantly, without having to open the favorites menu. Be aware, you only get two. Unless you have Kinect, then you get more options.

Damn Garrison64 beat me to it!

If you get the Kinect there is! There is an "Equip" command that will instantly swap weapons for you (or magic, or drink potions, or...). Sorry, I'm just loving the Kinect right now. It's freakin' awesome for this game. It makes life a hell of a lot easier and combat just flows because you don't have to keep jumping into favorites or magic menus. The other cool thing is the shouts, if you have them unlocked and you remember their names there is no longer any need to assign a single one to a button. You just click and hold your "shout" button and speak the shout type (you can either dork out and speak it in dragon tongue... no way in hell I'll do that... or just use the English, like, "Unrelenting Force" or "Disarm")... any of them... and they'll fire off.

If you use the English version you don't even have to press the button.

I assume it's because in English, it's one word, while in the Dragon language, it's three, and you need to hold the button in order for the game to know you're shouting in that language? Sorry, I'm on PS3, so I wouldn't know, but this whole Kinect for Skyrim concept actually seems better than I thought it to be.
