There are secret passages in some of the dungeons in Skyrim?

In houses I don't think there is. But I've not really looked tbh.

There weren't many of them in Oblivion but they were pretty cool. They need more hidden things in these games. I remember Morrowing had some that didn't even have an indication that there was a passage, just some kind of cosmetic oddity that hinted at it.

Every castle? I can only remember like 3 or 4, and I played Oblivion a ton. But I agree, they were really cool. I can't say I've seen any in Skyrim yet, but I haven't really explored any castles very well yet, so I'm sure there are some to be found.

I do miss the secret passages as well they did add a sense of intrigue to the castles as well as a sense of mystery.

All a secret passage would reward is searching the net for a list of secret passages. It wouldn't take Google two misspelled words to find reference to all "secert pasagges" in Oblivion.

I miss a great many things from Oblivion; what a wonderful, romantic game. How often it's put down here; sigh.

On the specific topic of secret paths, there are none that I know of bar one you come across early in the main quest. Whilst suprising and refreshing, it gets old seeing that one example repeatedely. I assume mods will a fair few number of mysterious passages, though.

All secret passages in Skyrim can be conveniently found at the end of nearly every cave and dungeon. They are really not that secret. If you wanted evidence of incredible hand holding look no further. I mean I can understand them being there for those really long dungeons but really? All of them? That is just absurd.

I just miss that huge moment of excitement when I stumbled upon the hidden passageway in battlehorn, and thought I was the only one in the world who'd found it. (it was in the moment of course) but also there was nice loot in battlehorn castle's

portable mortar and pestle.

yeah, if it were not for that i would say that alchemy actually improved from oblivion to skyrim, i would rant about it but instead i can just wait for a mod if there is not one already.

I may be off my rocker here, but I think there are hidden passages in ALL the castles in OB. I thought I saw that once at band cam---
There is really a lot I miss from OB.
Skyrim though gives me lots to do, just wish I was less "doing things" and off exploring some unknown area, with some unknown secret place.

Oblivion was very boring. Very simple, and almost every area was copy pasted.
