Only 4 types of daedra?

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 1:29 pm

So far I know there are fire, frost and storm atronachs and someone said you can summon a dremora lord. Kinda disappointed in the lack of deadra... or maybe I haven't explored enough?

They're much more rare, but fiercer. Dremora beat the hell out of you. I only saw them once, and there were 3. Took a while to best them, and I had to use archery to take two down before even thinking about attempting a charge.

Fire atronach also explode. Didn't know that the first time. Beat it with hardly any healthy left. My victory was short lived to say the least.

Hopefully there are more, though. Daedroth and Golden Saints especially.

There are Dremora as well; sometimes the enemies transform into one when I use the Wabbajack.

That's what I'm hoping for. I REALLY want to see Daedroths. Probably my favorite daedra. I mean, I've only seen Fire and Frost Atronachs... so I'm HOPING that there'll be more... just haven't seen 'em yet.

I saw one of the Daedric Lords just a few hours ago. More than four types, but after the Oblivion Crisis, it's a bit more complicated to get into the world. You probably won't find them wandering around without someone summoning them.

Happily, Dremora are in. Dissapointingly, there is no news on Golden Saints and the like. From what I saw of the game guide, Dremora, of varying ranks from churl to Valkynaz, are present, and the elementals, but there was no news of Aureal, Mazkan, Auroran, Winged Twilights, Ogrim or the rest.

Really? Man I wish they'd bring back Ogrims. :(

Do you have the guide?

I don't have it, but I gave it a good perusal during the Midnight sale at Gamestop.

No Daedroth or Clannfear summons make me a sad panda.

Might have something to do with sealing the Oblivion realms even more than before in the previous game? Certain dialogue I've heard from NPCs seems to indicate some things like that.

I thought there would be a lot of Daedra as you have those Vigilantes of Stendarr walking around who want to kill daedra

Doesn't have anything to do with that at all since you can still summon Dremora Lords which come from the same plane as Daedroth/Clannfear. They're just... blatantly left out sadly.

Are you certain though? Have you beaten the game, explored everything/read the strategy guide?

No of course not, no one can make that claim yet. But the spells aren't in the files as far as I can tell, and I don't see how Daedroths/Clannfears would be extremely rare and hard to find when I already have access to Dremora Lords.
