I just purchased the game through steam. I overcame the issue others were talking about with the game not launching.However, when it DID launch, the opening cinematic almost seemed as though it was fast-forworwarding, kinda skipping... I waited it out, and when the cinematic ended, the game crashed. All my drivers are up-to-date. I've tried playing with the video settings, and it doesn't make a difference. Specs:AMD dual-core 2.1 ghzGeForce 8600 GTS1 gig ramI did notice that the 8000 series is not listed under 'supported video cards' on Bethesda's website.Anyone else having this issue, or know how to fix it?EDIT:The opening cinematic issue magically resolved itself. However, the game still crashes as soon as the cinematic ends.

I am having this problem as well.I also have a geforce 8600.

the game use to crash for me when i first bought it a while ago but then i updated the cpu driver and no more problems.does it give you any messages before/after it crashes

do you have a duel core processor?if so go to the processors website and look for updates on your driverif not, i dont know what the problem is
