In my opinion, dwarven armor looks pretty great

It looks so amazing with its huge size and details. It actually looks a bit like a golem when you wear the full set.

I agree, Looks great, though I use light armor - the Dwemer stuff would be on my list otherwise!

Too big and clunky in my opinion, though I do have a set standing guard in my home in Markarth. Went hardcoe Dwemer there. Even replaced the plates and cups.

Always fun to pretend to be a space marine.

Not sarcasm at all, I love the hulky look of it.

Yeah, I like the design of it. I prefer to use Steel Plate, but it still looks very good.

The most common theory is that dwemer equipment as we know it is not made by the dwemer(except artifacts like SpellBreaker), but simply dwemer metal used to make weapons and armor. This would also explain that it is not the second best tier of everything(judging by the quality of SpelBreaker they could really smith some great armor at least. And Sunder and Keening aren't exactly weak weapons either).

Why oh why does light armour look so lame, only gear that's remotely cool is the thieves guild equipment. :(

I love dwarven armour, it's awesome. The best looking armour in the game.

It looks like proper armour, purely functional, but attractive. And the same on both sixes, like it should be.
Proper flat briastplate, like it could provide proper protection.
Most of the other heavy armours stupid. Especialy on females. The boob plates, FFS!
I like how big and heavy it looks.
Like steampunk power armour. Space Marine like.

I like light armour best. It looks the best and you don't sound like you dying when you run.
And most importantly, it looks like proper armour.
It's either flat or a corsetlike cuirass. Either way, it looks like proper armour on both sixes.
No stupid boob plates. It's all flat, how armour should be. Or , in the case of Dragonscale armour, a cool scalemailand bone corset dress setup. Looks awesome.

I like it.
But, then again, I'm a big fan of all the armor, and weapons. I just wish there were more of them.

Dwemer Armour looks great and my favourite at the moment is Steel Plate as it's the best helm so far.

I can't comment on Ebony or Daedric because in my game I haven't reached a point where anyone is actually wearing any (though I have found an open helmed Ebony Helmet).

I don't suspect you will find anyone wearing any. You might find some in loot, and thus wear it yourself, but the NPCs aren't likely to have it on them.

As for dwemer stuff, I personally don't like it. Plus, I always did wonder why the dwemer would make such weak armor compared to glass, ebony, and daedric, all of which they should have had access to. Even Orcish is better than dwemer armor, and that's silly to me.

For an ancient and highly advanced society, they had garbage kit.

I used dwemer for about 80% of the game. I personally like it too combined with the Otar mask. My second favorites would have to be Wolf and Steel Plate

Dwemer armour actually has different models for Male and female, the male face is a snarl, while the female face is a smile.

Not having "boob plates" on a female would be just as silly as having "boob plates" on a man IMO. If I were a woman, and I was going to put on a suit of armor and kick the living [censored] out of something, I'd want them to know I'm a woman, and I'm about to smash your face in with a warhammer.

I like the way the boots flare and the gloves sort of just... angle?

I thought so too until I saw the Glass armor, and later got all the Smithing perks to make Dragonscale armor.

The helmets on most light armor are what make them look lame. The Forsworn Helmet looks good on both genders, and the dragonscale armor yes is pretty cool. Some of the fur armors look pretty good, and if you take leather armor and use the thieves guild armor hood, makes for a good look.

I also like the Penitus Oculatus armor look, but I'd take a Dark Brotherhood hood and put it on top of that.

The Cuirass looks ok, but those big stomping boots look like something Herman Munster would wear, lol.

I like everything but the helm, which looks dorky as hell from the front- I put the helm on Lydia, and every time I look at her (of course she's always facing me), she looks like some brass Tin-man from the Wizard of Oz.

Eh it looks nice but it looks like it belongs in a museum more than on a battlefield. Too shiny and not gritty enough for me. Now the wolf armor you can get after joining the companions I like.

I agree. I always just end up using TG hood with my light armor or a dragon priest mask. The helmets in this game are so lame. Especially dragonscale. Soooo ugly.

Which brings me to my problem with the dwemer set. I'll agree it's big and badass, and arguably the coolest HA in the game... but that helmet. Dear god, that helmet. It has a big crest right smack dab down the middle of your face. It just looks ridiculous IMO. I'd still go with a hood

I stopped wearing helmets quite some time ago, i only do it on characters helmets fit on.
But my female dual sword fighter? She wears dwemer armor (going for ebony which fits her appearance more, but she is only lvl 14 so it will take a while) but not the helmet. Her face is too beautiful for that :P

The only thing I dont like about dwarven armor is the boots. The just look terrible to my eye, making it look like im running around with badly made columns below the knee. Its the tapering effect I think that does it.
