It is my humble opinion that this game is really lacking players even more so then before. While the players that remain are all good and loyal brink players we need more to get a more enjoyable level of consistent full games. While I do often get full games it seems to be the same old players all the time and the game can take a few levels to fill up, while it is filling up the teams are not balanced and can be a bit one sided.
During a break from brink I tried out the home front demo on xbox live and was amazed at a few things. I really missed the smart movement system, but most important was that every on-line game of home front was full with 32 players in all and it is nowhere near as enjoyable as brink! So what I am building up to is that SD need to get the DLC out soon for the loyal fans still here and most importantly get an xbox live demo going to attract new gamers and I'm sure eventually fans now that the lag problem that lost so many at launch is mostly sorted. If this game dies out it will be a crime against good gaming!

I don't think it would be a crime against good gaming.
It would be a show of how bad design flaws and pushing out/rushing a game can be, especially if there are several changes through out production.
