I'm planning my next character and would like some input

I want to make an Orc Shaman type. This is the build I've come up with so far (if he ever gets to that high a level ): http://skyrimcalculator.com/#120076

He'd use a 2 handed mace and light (Fur or Hide) armor. Enchanting and Alchemy to improve his capabilities and magic to protect himself and add to his damage.

In essence, he'd use his mace for damage, lightning cloak for a bit extra, and restoration to heal himself.

Thinking about letting him become a werewolf as well, seems to fit the character

Any tips, ideas, pointers, etc.?

Intriguing idea. Never thought about playing a shaman before in TES. How would you RP it?

The Forsworn are the enemy bcuz they use dark magic (hagravens) while a true shaman uses nature magic (spriggan). Live like a hunter out in the wild

Personally I would probably go dual axes,1h axe and spell or 1h axe and staff for character flavor but that is mostly personal preference, definately go werewolf also if you are on PC perhaps http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=13366 would be a good choice of clothing?

I'm not really a roleplayer, but this is how I see the character.

Basically he's an Orc who's very much in-touch with nature. So he'll use natural materials (hide, fur), "natural" magic (restoration, shock spells, enchants) and everything that nature provides (alchemy). He's an adventurer and explorer and, being an Orc, loves a good fight. Which is why he'll end up joining the companions and becoming a werewolf. He's intrigued by his apparently being "dragonborn" and his main goal is to get to the bottom of that, as well as develop his dragonborn powers. He's not decided on the civil war yet. As an Orc, he leans toward the Empire though he respects Ulfric and his Stormcloaks... he might take a stand somewhere down the line.

Dual axes would work well for the character I have in mind too... interesting That armor looks great, though I envision him being a bit more... bare...

Forsworn Armor is very shamany

I had a female orc shaman once, she used light armor, dual axes and conjuration. (summoning elementals is pretty shaman to me)
