My originial Impression of Victor

Post » Sun May 01, 2011 1:45 am

I have to say, his voice isnt what I expected, I expected a Lucas Simmsy burly/older sounding cowboy voice, his seems a bit...I dont know how to word it. Remember this is not final until the game is released, so this is not final judgement.

Anyone else have an opinion?

If he says "There's a snake in mah tire!" then the game would have been worth it even if the rest was garbage.

I expected him to have that kind of cartoony style voice. I get that kind of vibe from it. I mean, I don't expect a big clunky robot with a TV(iirc) to be serious.

Oh dear lord. It would.

Edit- I guess you're right Fallout, it's just a very very mild dissappointment is all, but like I said, 60 days left until release, maybe the style was just a quick take for them to show that segment. [censored] it, I really dont care, Im just saying it isnt what I had thought it'd be xD

If Vegas Vic were ever to talk, I think that he'd sound like Victor.

And if they made an equivalent dialogue line to 'SOMEBODYS POISONED THE WATERHOLE!' for Vic to say, he'd be my second favorite NPC. (Currently Mr.House is at first)

I'd be happiest if they could incorporate the phrase "You have saved our lives, we are eternally grateful."

I love his voice. It's so gentle, in a dangerous kind of a way. Calm, but unnaturally calm, you know?
He sounds insane, and I can't wait to meet him, regardless of what character I'll be playing.

I think his voice was cool. When he said "fiddle" it sounded weird.

He sounds about right to me.

What were you expecting a robot with a t.v. face and a cartoony cowboy on it to talk like, John Wayne?......... actually that might have been pretty cool if it was an obvious John Wayne copy cat voice with a comedic vibe to it.

But this works I think.

I found him very Cowboy in the most Cliche way. And that is exactly how I felt a robot with a cartoon owboy face on a screen should sound.
