So, the new season started tonight and I'm watching the second episode right now. It's a show about parents throwing...outrageous parties for their...kids. Imagine "My Sweet Sixteen" for six year olds.

This is amazingly hilarious and sad. The first mom bought her son an $8,500 rock wall for preschool graduation and spent $32,000 on the party. This mom is allowing her six year old daughter to get a tramp stamp (it's airbrushed...thank god). I mean, I love watching shows like this because of how over the top everything is and how screwed up the parents are going to make their kids (think Toddlers and Tiaras) but something about this is different. You just gotta think about all the other kids who come to the party then go, "Mommy, why can't I have a party like that?" And what about the older siblings who didn't get something like that?

I dunno. It's a guilty pleasure.

Sorry, never seen it or heard about it before. I will however say, based upon what you say, that sounds really [censored] up. As if the parents are intentionally trying to raise narcissistic and self-centered bastards with no real understanding of value and appreciation. I also assume the show is an American television show?

Just looked it up and all I was speechless. I am telling you kids are getting extremely spoiled as time goes on and why would you throw a party for a 5 year old who will only remember like half of it?
