Same, I stripped Esbern and Delphine of their essential status instead and killed them both. They're both useless, unpleasant and annoying, then they have the gall to issue you an ultimatum to kill a much better character? You'd think Beth would have learned after the Lucien Lachance incident in Oblivion.
I don't find dragons anywhere "cute", "sweet", etc. Dragons may be awe-inspiring, majestic, stupendous.... or just plain evil. Cute and sweet are words one applies to puppies and kittens.
