Now this is just a thought but considering many people have paid full price for an unplayable game that if the price drops before the patch compensation is definitely due. Is there any reason to think the next Bethesda or Obsidian game isn't going to be horribly bugged? This has all been just a public relations nightmare and to be honest the industry itself needs to change so that way something like this never happens again.

In the UK many places are selling this game at less than half price now. Gamestation ￡19.99 for example.
Which means that anyone wanting to trade in will get considerably less than they initially paid for a broken unusable product.
I can't imagine it getting reduced so dramatically and so quickly after release if it actually WORKED.

The sceptical amongst us would assume that retailers are trying to get rid of the huge amount of copies they are stockpiling because nobody is buying it due to the fact that it does'nt work.

Indeed, people on this forum have quoted retailers that will not accept this game for trade in because they can't sell the stock they already have.
