As I posted in the main 1.6 thread...the "my screen turns yellow near fire" issue cropped up in the beta with AMD cards running older driver versions. If you are seeing this issue and you have an AMD card and haven't updated your drivers in a while, the correct fix is upgrade your drivers.

Disabling in-game AA should only be done if you can't upgrade your drivers...for example if you have a laptop and the manufacturer provided drivers are quite old, and there haven't been any new ones issued lately. It's just a bandaid fix.

As for the flickering issue, I'm not certain about that one, and I can't get into the beta forums to double check if that one's been reported / if there's a fix, since of course the beta forums are closed. chart4ever, what's your GPU, are you using Crossfire, and what's your driver version?

Some Patch Issues Reported:
1) When entering the in game menu (Esc), the background outside the menu box flickers rapidly.
2) CTDs after no more than 2 minutes of play. (Vanilla Config)
3) CTD when trying to enter the Bee and Barb and opening that cell crashes the creation kit as well.
4) Seam Tearing on projectiles.
5) Save-games corrupted; Characters saved while in sneak mode unable to stand up.
6) Controls reverted to default settings, not re-mappable.
7) Many items are not HAVOK settling.

Installed 12.4, flickering. Updated with 12.6 beta, still flickering. I found the solution while looking around the internet.

I have a single HD 5970 2gb.

Hrm. Well, that's confusing. Flickering with Crossfire and certain driver versions I've run into before, but not a single card. Really wish they hadn't gone and closed off the beta forums; I swear there was a thread in there about flickering on opening the journal screen, but I can't remember the details.

I just hope this will help people. When I first run Skyrim after the update, my card started to heat up really fast and make strange noises...
