Patch 1.6 for consoles

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 11:00 am

Hello everyone, sorry if this has become a repetitive question, I haven't seen anyone really asking on Twitter or recent posts, so I just thought I'd quickly make a thread and ask this question:

Is there any known release date for patch 1.6 to consoles? I'm guessing not?

It just seems a bit odd to me that Dawnguard's release is coming up very soon and no word on when the patch will be released, although they said it will be released first?

It's probably coming very soon and I should just be patient, but I just wanted to ask and see if anyone has any information or could post in this thread when any is released.

Thank you for your time!

The patch hasn't been officially released for PC yet. They issued an updated beta version earlier this week and haven't even put out a change list for it yet. I think we can expect it to be in beta for a bit longer.

I think their plan is to get it out shortly before the dlc hits.

I think they'll just put it in the Dawnguard dlc. I mean with things like talking to microsoft and sony about whatever is need for a patch to be released and bug fixing it may take time for it to be ready for consoles. The patch is free anyway, so they might just be thinking like we'll wait til dawnguard is released.

I am assuming the end of next week. 1.6 is still in beta on PC and it takes one to two weeks certification time from Microsoft and Sony. I think at the end of next week tho. There is no concrete information on the matter.

This. Sorta..

The beginning of next week is the start of the Xbox 360 Beta for Dawnguard. Believe it or not, no horse mounts in the Beta could cause some bugs not to be reported, so I'd say the update will be issued some time this weekend.

I think we will get it when dawnguard is released,Or even when the beta starts. Becouse seems like mounted combat will be part of dawnguard. Or something

I'm gonna take a gamble and say it's out before the Dawnguard Beta. If the DLC is to make use of mounted combat, it'll have to be in one way or another. Or, it might not. :D

I always get fooled by these posts. Dang it! I thought it was out again. I want mounted combat so bad. It will change the way I play the game so much because I NEVER fast travel.

Same. I like to walk the roads and read the signs to find out which way to go. Mounted combat will be great, but I can wait because I only travel on horseback when I have to go long distances, as in going from markarth to windhelm.

I never fast travel, either! And I am often scaring animals away and thinking, if I could just ride alongside and slay you right now that'd be awesome.
