Hey everyone, sorry if this is posted somewhere else already, I couldn't find it.
Is there any official word on when the ps3 (yea I know, should have got it on pc) will be getting the 1.6 patch?

I understand the dlc time exclusivity deal - thats perfectly fine, but not patching PC or PS3 for several weeks is just plain ignorance and annoying, I expect to get it no earlier than the day dawngaurd comes out in a month, at least now xbox has their patch AND dlc bethesda might think about working on transferring the patch to other systems, its highly obvious that this has not been the priority recently.

Its worse for PC players since elder scrolls was born and raised on the PC and even those players are getting shafted in favor of the xbox.

PC players do have patch 1.6. It just doesn't work very well.

There's no deal for the patches. Apparently Microsoft isn't that evil. PC players actually got 1.6 before anybody if they had beta channel switched on. If there's one guilty party in this respect it's Sony. They pay EA to not only delay BF3 DLC on PC (And BF3 isn't even anywhere near as good on consoles by design ...) but also to delay the bugfix patches. We had to deal with an extra week and a half or so of people topping score charts with a glitched gun because of Sony's bribe money.

I wouldn't know about this since I refuse to do business with EA. Between their draconian policies and removing split screen multiplayer for the only game I like in their lineup (Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit), there's nothing to make me want to buy their products.

Keep an eye out in Nov for NFS Most Wanted, Criterion are doing it too.
