Patch Messes&Approvals

Post » Thu Jul 07, 2011 2:14 pm

This is in response to the "I'm Already lvl 45" post, as well as the "repair kits no 100%" issue.

Also found out that 12.7mm rounds are now around 0.06 lbs instead of near weightless. Maybe current weight maybe a bit too much since the 12.7mm Pistol and SMG are not supported by Grunt and also makes the .45 Auto weapons substantially more favorable.

What other things did you find? What do you approve and what not?

The wae club speed was increased drastically making it much more useful, I also like how multiple items no show total weight no per item weight useful for food stuffs and ammo.

Boone is carrying around a Caravan shotgun on one of my playthroughs. No clue why but it's replaced his default, and it's only on one playthrough.

The weapon repair kits not repairing to 100% is a good thing since it adds fixes and still alows you to repair to 99.9%. I like the fixes to the mini gun noise it was so annoying that i stoped using them entirely. Also arms not going above your head.

I noted that a weapon in, what is it?, 99.9% condition cannot be repaired with any other weapon. Used repair kits to repair a Grenade Rifle, after a shot or 2 tried to repair it with another Grenade Rifle, didnt work. I suppose 99.9% is now the max?

I dont know. Would be nice if someone could clear it up a bit, cuz I would swear I saw a small vertical line in the GrenRifle's CND that represented CND loss, but I was unable to repair it by any means. Know that if it is indeed the case, I understand why the devs did it, but wonder why they didnt increase to a technical 101%, with only 100% visible and active, and a non-repair once a weapon is at 100% or beyond (the +1% being some kind of invisible repair buffer).
